Free Online Resources to Keep Kids Busy

With the entire nation put under complete lockdown to battle COVID-19, parents face a challenge of how to keep their kids positively engaged. The situation is more difficult for those who are busy working from home. We at Wanderquest have done some research and put together a list of free resources available online for kids :

1. Free e books.

OxfordOWL offers over 100 free e books for children aged 3-11 years old . They have a world class collection of books that are compatible with tablets too. www.oxfordowl.co.uk

2. Free comics.

3. Virtual Museum tours.

4. Free Audio Books.

Audible, owned by Amazon, is offering free audio books for kids. Children who are not too fond of reading might find this more interesting. www.wfla.com

5. Free Coding Classes.

Boost your kid's problem solving and analytical skills with free coding classes offered by Udemy and whitehatjr www.udemy.com

6. Try Subscription boxes.

They can engage your kids better compared to traditional games (remember how your kids keep complaining about getting bored despite your house overflowing with toys). Subscription boxes have an element of surprise and spark curiosity in kids. Spending time doing the activities given in these boxes can be a fun time for the entire family.

This time with your little ones will not come back. Enjoy and savour it while it lasts. Make beautiful memories which you and your kids can cherish later. Can you think of anything more important than this?Give it a thought. Call or Watsapp us @ 9374523926 for more details or write to us at care@wanderquest.in

Shakespeare wrote his best plays during Plague . Newton discovered gravity while he was in self quarantine. This can be a time to strengthen our family ties and work towards growth. We, parents, can utilize this time to help our kids to explore their interests and aptitudes.

Stay positive, stay indoors and stay safe
Till next time
